I just got my first DSLR – a Nikon D200! These are some images I took the first couple of days of getting it. I’ve got a lot to learn, but I’m really pleased with the results so far. Most of these are either while she’s eating or while she’s in the bath. Those are the times she most confined to a small space, so it’s a little easier to capture her. These aren’t any where near the quality of Shawna’s (see post from September of last year), but I’m happy with them. I’d love to read your comments!

These are short (well, mostly short) videos that we’ve taken with our little point and shoot camera. I haven’t figured out how to convert my video from my video camera into editable material yet! I’m working on it.

Just a caution, these are VERY poor quality and they don’t necessarily have any interesting things them. A few are funny. But mostly I’m putting these here for the grandparents to see. Everyone else can just look at the photos!

These are from Christmas and the day after in Swansea (just outside of Columbia) where my parents live and where I grew up.

 

Every year since getting married we’ve spent a couple days before Christmas at one side of the family and a couple days after Christmas at the other side of the family. We always travel on Christmas day from Knoxville to Columbia or vice versa. This year we started out in Knoxville. What a great way to start our Christmas!
